We hope to see you next week at OKK in Naalehu! NEXT SOAP DROP: JULY 21 Our soap inventory from the last drop disappeared quickly. Lucy’s Corner!
![]() Lucy was sunning herself mid-day and enjoying the scent of sweet Thai basil. She is still occupying her same chayote vine. Only two feet away we saw a new, large male! Lucy is also looking rather curvaceous these days… maybe we will have some Lucy babies soon!
![]() This is the male that we saw on the eggplant bush just feet from where Lucy was hanging out. Although there are many chameleons throughout our entire garden space, there are only a few that seem to take up residence in predictable locations. This male is one of them! He and Lucy have been living close by one another. Let’s keep our fingers crossed for some babies!

![]() If you’ve visited Hawaii, you know that there are chickens everywhere. Chickens thrive because they have few natural predators and weather conditions are favorable year-round. Our neighbor gifted us some wild chicken eggs recently. One of our chickens had been broody for a few weeks prior to his gifting, so we decided to let her sit on them and see what happened. Now, we have 4 new babies to add to our flock!
![]() Our next round of tomatoes are producing some really stunning fruits. In addition to our Chocolate Cherry and Heirloom Brandywine varieties, we’ve added San Marzano Paste and Heirloom Cherokee Purples. These look stunning together and the taste is incredible too! We hope to be offering these at the local markets very soon. |
Thanks for checking out our July Newsletter! Aloha!
